After 13 years in the making the new book “Flying saucers in the sky” is out.
It is about a survey of the idea, during the 1947 wave, that the flying saucers were from Mars. The book also deals with the months and years before 1947, when the concept of space visitors was already around.
Anyway, just a small minority of people really believed the saucers sighted in the American skies (and abroad) were from another planet. Most comments involving the Martian idea were used to ridicule the topic or just to remark the sense of wonder associated with those strange things reported in the skies.
